Adeola’s episode is the first in a new series of podcast shows on “Women in Real Estate.” In the coming weeks I’ll be interviewing successful female real estate investors like Adeola to help encourage and inspire more women to get into real estate.
After experiencing a life altering layoff when she was a junior lawyer at the age of 27, Adeola Omole was forced to deal with her six figure debt. Less than three years later she paid off over $70,000 of consumer debt, then, twelve years after that, paid off over $320,000 on her mortgage. She is now debt free, has a net worth over $1,000,000 and lays out the steps she took to attain financial freedom in her new book 7 Steps to Get Out of Debt and Build Wealth.
In my interview with Adeola, we discuss her experience buying real estate at a young age, lessons learned from being a landlord for 9 years and tips for selling your home in a buyer’s market.
